This role is crucial for building high-value relationships with startups, VC firms, and innovation hubs across Texas, focusing on new business development and strategic advisory services.Why This Role Stands OutLead and originate high-impact business opportunities within the dynamic Texas innovation economy.Serve as a strategic advisor to founders, CFOs, and VC partners, influencing capital structure and financial operations.Drive market visibility and influence by representing Leader Bank at key industry events and building strategic partnerships.Operate with significant autonomy in a high-visibility, market-facing role focused on entrepreneurial growth.Who This Role Is ForA seasoned professional with 8-10 years of experience within the venture capital ecosystem.An entrepreneurial mindset, eager to lead new business development and execute go-to-market strategies.Possesses a strong, established network within the Austin and broader Texas startup and VC market.Thrives in a high-visibility, market-facing role requiring significant external networking and self-direction.What You'll DoOriginate and lead new business with high-growth startups and venture capital firms.Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for banking products in the Texas innovation economy.Manage and grow a portfolio of high-impact client relationships, including treasury and credit solutions.Represent Leader Bank at industry events, conferences, and founder/investor gatherings.Serve as a strategic advisor to founders, CFOs, and VC partners on banking and capital structure.Partner internally to design customized credit, treasury, and other banking solutions.Drive partnerships with accelerators, incubators, and startup support organizations.What We're Looking For8-10 years of proven experience within the venture capital ecosystem.A strong, established network in the Austin and broader Texas startup and VC market.Expertise in Business Development and Relationship Management.Deep knowledge of the Venture Capital Ecosystem and Startup Operations.Demonstrated Strategic Advising and Leadership capabilities.Proficiency in Treasury Solutions and Negotiation.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, market-facing environment requiring significant travel.Experience with Capital Call Lines is preferred.
