This role is critical in ensuring operational excellence, with a strong focus on observability, automation, and continuous improvement.\n\nSummary of Job Functions\nCI/CD Pipeline Engineering\nDevelop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast, reliable builds and tests\nReduce cycle times by improving caching, parallelization, and pipeline efficiency\nEnsure pipelines are self-service and easy to extend\nDeveloper Experience & Productivity\nPartner with developers to understand workflow pain points and improve tooling\nProvide fast, reliable feedback loops for code changes (e.g., test flakiness, build errors)\nAutomate repetitive tasks to reduce friction in the development process\nInfrastructure Design & Optimization\nEvaluate and recommend the best hardware, software, and system configurations to meet performance, scalability, and reliability goals\nAs part of the DevOps team, own the availability and reliability of production services running in Kubernetes\nIncident Management & Reliability Engineering\nParticipate in incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives\nApply SRE principles and proactively identify and address performance or reliability risks across the platform\nUnderstand and implement service level indicators (SLIs) and service level objectives (SLOs) to ensure system reliability\nMonitoring, Observability & Health Metrics\nDesign and improve monitoring and alerting systems using Prometheus, Grafana, and modern logging tools.\nCollaboration & Best Practices\nPartner with development teams to build solutions that are scalable, observable, and maintainable\nPromote DevOps and SRE best practices across engineering teams including automation and operational excellence\nAutomation & Tooling\nBuild and maintain infrastructure-as-code\nWrite and maintain Python scripts and tools to automate deployment, monitoring, and other operational tasks\nImprove deployment and rollback processes via CI/CD pipelines (e.g., ArgoCD)\nDisaster Recovery & IT Coordination\nCollaborate with IT and other stakeholders to plan, implement, and test disaster recovery strategies\nOn-Call & Incident Response\nParticipate in on-call rotations and contribute to evolving our incident management processes\nMinimum Requirements\nAt least 10 years of experience in a DevOps Engineer or relevant role\nHands-on expertise with CI/CD platforms (e.g., Bamboo, AzureDevops, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)\nProficiency with programming/scripting skills in Python, Go, or similar\nExperience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) in the context of builds and pipelines\nKnowledge of artifact management (Artifactory, Proget, or similar)\nFamiliarity with version control (Git, branching strategies, GitOps)\nStrong focus on developer productivity, automation, and reducing cycle times\nAbility to work onsite in our Jupiter, FL office\nCompensation and Benefits\nHighly competitive base salary\nProfit sharing bonus\nHealth, dental, vision, life, disability insurance\n401K\nVoloridge Investment Management is an SEC registered investment advisor and an Equal Opportunity Employer.
