We value teamwork, dedication, and creativity in achieving our goals.Role DescriptionThis full-time, on-site role located in Florence, SC, requires a Chef / Kitchen Manager to oversee kitchen operations and ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality food and service. Responsibilities include menu planning, food preparation, cooking, inventory management, maintaining food safety standards, and managing a team of kitchen staff. The Chef / Kitchen Manager will also be responsible for controlling costs, minimizing waste, and maintaining cleanliness and efficiency within the kitchen environment. This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage a fast-paced kitchen, maintain high standards, control costs, and inspire a team.Key ResponsibilitiesLead daily kitchen operations and ensure efficient workflow.Develop Southern fusion menus using seasonal and local ingredients.Maintain high standards for food quality, presentation, and consistency.Manage inventory, ordering, food costs, waste control, and kitchen budgets.Train, supervise, schedule, and evaluate kitchen staff.Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards.Work closely with front-of-house leadership to deliver an excellent guest experience.Maintain a clean, organized, and professional kitchen environment.Bring creativity, leadership, and discipline to the culinary program.QualificationsProven experience as a Chef, Kitchen Manager, Sous Chef, or similar leadership role.Experience in Southern, fusion, comfort food, or upscale casual dining preferred.Strong understanding of food preparation, flavor profiles, plating, and kitchen systems.Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, inventory control, and labor management.Ability to lead, motivate, and hold staff accountable.Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.Culinary degree preferred but not required with equivalent experience.Compensation & BenefitsWe offer competitive compensation based on experience, along with opportunities for growth as our restaurant expands.
