{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"27db0bfbb629bbe9650afd8d","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/27db0bfbb629bbe9650afd8d","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/27db0bfbb629bbe9650afd8d","title":"Senior Facilities Engineer","description":"Title: Senior Facilities Engineer\nLocation: Maple Grove, MN\nPay Range: $52-62/HR\nDuration: Temp to Hire\n7am-4:30pm, Monday through Friday with every other Friday off\nSchedule: 9/80\nSummary:\nSpecify requirements and write purchase requisitions for facility items, services and projects.\nOversee all disciplines of subcontracted construction projects (demolition, electrical, mechanical, structural, carpentry, painting, floor coverings, furniture, etc.).\nOversee a variety of subcontractors, reviewing requested work, writing work orders, inspecting work and approving payments.\nThis includes general construction, vehicle repair, rigging and millwright, crane maintenance and other services.\nDirect and support projects and meetings for internal customers.\nGuide Architectural and Engineering firms doing project engineering work.\nSupport Safety and Environmental Objectives, including following policies, conducting area audits, alleviating issues, serving on various committees/teams, supporting risk reduction reviews/actions and sustainability improvement projects.\nFinancial responsibilities: assuring expenses are applied to the correct Cost Center and Account assignments, completing projects within schedule/budget constraints, assisting with development of the annual Facilities budget for their work efforts.\nAssist with reviewing documentation associated with projects to include bids, statements of work and project authorizations.\nCoordinate and oversee completion of activities in all phases of the project cycle for facilities-related construction projects.\nSupport our CMMS system with work order and PM completion.\nSubmit purchase order requisitions through Oracle based software.\nProactively maintain a safe work environment.\nPromote a culture of safety, quality, schedule and cost.\nPerform multiple additional duties and other duties as assigned by the department manager.\nSkills Required:\nBachelor's degree in engineering\nDefense manufacturing environment experience\nMaintenance supervisory experience\nCapital projects and facilities budgeting experience\nExperience with AutoCAD software\nExperience working in a manufacturing environment\nExperience with manufacturing database software such as Oracle\nExperience Required:\nProactive and forward-thinking around projects and building systems\nExperience balancing multiple assignments to meet target dates Able to work well in a team environment\nEffective communication skills, written and verbal Able to problem solve and analyze effectively\nExperience in Project Management Experience working with contractors and vendors.\nEducation Required:\nBachelor’s Degree and four years of related facilities project experience.\nPay: $55.00 -
