You will oversee all aspects of the competition, from planning and content creation to team management and delivery. Your expertise in standing up education-focused competitions and your ability to work effectively under tight timelines will be crucial to the success of this initiative.\nA day in the life\nDevelop the overall strategy, structure, and timeline for the ASVAB competition\nRecruit and manage a team of subject matter experts and instructional designers to deliver the competition content and program\nOversee the quality and accuracy of the competition material to ensure it meets educational and military standards\nCoordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the competition aligns with their requirements and expectations\nMonitor progress, identify and mitigate risks, and make timely decisions to keep the project on track\nAnalyze competition results and participant feedback to suggest potential future program improvements\nYour expertise\n5+ years of experience in managing education-focused competitions or programs\nProven track record of standing up teams and delivering high-quality programs under tight timelines\nStrong project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple workstreams and stakeholders\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams\nFamiliarity with the ASVAB testing process and military education requirements\nPassion for creating equal access to data-driven careers and empowering underrepresented communities\nWhere you are\nThis role is remote and can be located anywhere that is compatible with EST time zone. We are headquartered in New York City and have office space in Midtown Manhattan.\nThe compensation range for this position is specific to location and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. These factors include (but are not limited to) location, experience, education and skill sets. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $80-$100 per hour.
