This position will design, develop, deploy and maintain BI interfaces including data visualization tools, data analytics and reporting software.\nEssential Functions:\nPlans, creates and implements BI software and systems, including integration with databases and data warehouses.\nDevelops dashboards, reports and visualizations to present complex data in an understandable and functional format. Assists stakeholders in identifying important trends and insights.\nCreates and manages data models to ensure data is accurate, relevant and structured to support data analysis.\nOversees data extraction, transformation and loading (ETL) from various sources into a usable form for business analysis.\nManages databases and ensures their performance, reliability and security. Ensures accuracy, completeness and reliability of the data used for analysis. Implements data governance policies and practices.\nCollaborates with stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate business requirements into technical solutions. Gathers requirements, provides advice on how data can be utilized, and ensures BI solutions meet those needs.\nProvides support and training to users on BI tools and data analytics.\nPerforms regular maintenance and updates to existing BI solutions to enhance functionality and incorporate new data sources or analytics capabilities.\nPosition Competencies:\nStays current on the latest trends and technologies in BI, data analytics and data visualization to improve BI capabilities and recommend technology upgrades and enhancements.\nExcellent communication and customer services skills to interact with team members and stakeholders.
