May provide direction to design staff or technicians.\n\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nApplies basic technical knowledge to analyze, investigate, and resolve assigned routine engineering problems related to hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.\nAssists in the design and analysis of test fixtures and setups to support testing of actuators, high-load systems, and other mechanical components.\nSets up and configures data acquisition systems to collect and analyze test data effectively.\nDrafts test plans and test procedures, ensuring alignment with project goals and safety requirements.\nPerforms functional testing of equipment and systems using standard engineering and scientific principles, with a focus on actuators and high-load systems.\nObtains and analyzes test data, ensuring accuracy and relevance to system performance.\nDevelops appropriate documentation of findings and implemented solutions, and communicates results to project engineering staff. May be required to make technical presentations to project staff.\nAssists in the development and execution of test plans for mechanical systems, including troubleshooting and improving system performance.\nMay provide direction to design staff or technicians working on test setups or equipment modifications.\nMaintains the strict confidentiality of sensitive information.\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\nResponsible for observing all laws, regulations, and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.\nExpected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices, particularly in environments involving high-load systems and pressurized equipment.\n\nWe recognize and appreciate the value and contributions of individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences and welcome all qualified individuals to apply.\n\nJob Qualifications\nTypically requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution. May substitute equivalent engineering experience in lieu of education.\nMust have a basic understanding of engineering concepts, principles, and theory, particularly in hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems.
