Delta's provide performance feedback on other engineers and participate in company peer mentorship program.\r\nTravel:   0-10%\r\nThe Role\r\nThe Senior Forward Deployed Engineer (Sr FDE) serves as the technical lead responsible for the architecture, pipeline implementation, and overall delivery quality of Army Vantage dashboards and data workflows.You will coordinate directly with government stakeholders and engineering teams to deliver operational analytics capabilities that support force management and readiness decisions.\r\nSenior FDEs independently own complex implementation tasks from design through production, mentor junior engineers, and ensure sprint deliverables meet operational standards.\r\nKey Responsibilities\r\nDesign, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines within Army Vantage (Palantir Foundry), including automated build, test, deployment, and environment promotion workflows\r\nBuild and iterate front-end analytical dashboards using Foundry's Workshop/Slate application layer\r\nDefine and enforce automated quality gates, validation suites, and release confidence checks\r\nConfigure observability tooling including monitoring, logging, and alerting aligned to Foundry development patterns\r\nImplement governed metric definitions and reusable business logic anchored to the Foundry Ontology\r\nParticipate in agile sprint cycles, including planning, standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives\r\nDemonstrate working capabilities to government stakeholders\r\nAlign integration patterns, data access controls, and release procedures with platform requirements\r\nDeliver comprehensive technical documentation, configuration baselines, and operational runbooks\r\nProvide defect resolution, troubleshooting, and incremental improvements\r\nMentor mid-level engineers through code reviews and technical guidance\r\nPreferred Qualifications\r\nDeep expertise with Palantir Foundry, including pipelines, Workshop/Slate, Ontology configuration, and AIP\r\n8+ years of software engineering or systems integration experience\r\nExperience delivering CI/CD pipelines and analytics platforms in classified or DoD environments\r\nExperience with Python, TypeScript, or Java within Foundry development workflows\r\nFamiliarity with Army Vantage, GFIM, force management, or readiness data domains\r\nAbility to own full feature lifecycle: architecture ? build ? test ? deployment\r\nAbout PVM & Benefits\r\nAt PVM, we mean it when we say we value diversity.
