Family-owned and family-operated Discount pricing on products, events and attractions Your Responsibilities & Essential Job Duties: Ensures that no vehicle is delivered without payment or a cashable finance contract without exception Works closely with Sales Manager and General Manager to check for potential fraud or identity theft including following all Federal and state regulations regarding fraud and ID theft When the finance manager is not doing an active delivery, he or she will be stationed at the sales desk assisting the sales managers with client TO's and submitting finance applications to maximize finance profit opportunities Collects all monies due for vehicle sale, deposits them in safe and notifies accounting office of cash received Protects gross profit by working to convert cash buyers and those financing with outside sources so it does not have an impact on selling margins Establishes lender relations so ensure timely funding Generates additional income through the sales of core finance products such as: vehicle service contracts, GAP coverage, and maintenance plans Maintains control of all paperwork until it is ready to be turned into the accounting office Responsible for all paperwork involved with the sale of the vehicle, including obtaining customer signatures and securing payoff and insurance information Converts cash deals to finance Establishes and maintains good working relationships with all finance sources, including the manufacturer Processes finance and lease deals accurately and fairly through financial sources to secure approval Conducts business in an ethical and professional manner Processes all federal, state, and dealer paperwork related to vehicle transaction Keeps track of all contracts until they are funded and reports directly to the General Manager and Controller/Office Manager The FSM will also update the CIT log weekly and return timely to the GM and Controller/Office Manager Understands and complies with federal, state, and local regulations that affect the new- and used-vehicle and finance departments Completes paperwork necessary for vehicle sales and leases in a timely and efficient manner Checks all paperwork for correct title, lien information, taxes, etc., before forwarding to accounting Acquires and maintains current state insurance license if applicable Provides customers with complete explanation of manufacturer and dealership service procedures and policies Manages the alternative finance source program to ensure that several sources are available Maintains insurance files Sets up and maintains a process with sales people where all customers are turned over to the F&I department 100% of the time Provides sales department and sales managers with current information about finance and lease programs Trains the sales staff regarding the benefits of financing, insurance and extended service programs Coordinates finance forecasting with sales department forecasting to achieve desired levels of penetration and income Ensures collection of all finance and insurance fees Keeps a dead deal file and properly disposes of files for vehicles not purchased Prepares reports on finance penetration Attends all sales persons and manager's meetings Handles all finance and product rate quotations Develops and monitors guidelines for working with customers to ensure maximum customer satisfaction Supervises and trains designated F&I backup to ensure continued efficiency and profitability in the F&I manager's absence Maintains an adequate and current supply of all required contracts and paperwork needed for completion and finalization of car deals Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: JM&A Certification/AFIP certification Job Requirements & Qualifications: Previous F&I Manager experience is preferred Maintain Professional Appearance Excellent customer service, organizational, and negotiation skills Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills Proficient knowledge of dealership computer systems Previous industry knowledge and overall knowledge of operations, management, and customer relationships Must have valid
