WAGO is the backbone of a smart, connected world.Click below to apply!WAGO Corporation is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to support daily manufacturing and warehouse operations by performing hands-on technical support and troubleshooting across electronic assembly, mechanical assembly, and advanced Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS). This role reports to the Technical Supervisor and works closely with Manufacturing Engineering and Maintenance teams to ensure equipment operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with quality standards.WAGO offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, company-paid insurance plans-life, AD&D, short-term disability and long-term disability, and a retirement 401k plan.Experience and Qualifications: 5 years of relevant experience in electronic or mechanical manufacturing environments Diploma, associate degree, or technical certification in Electronics, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field preferred Strong technical knowledge of automated assembly, mechanical assembly, placement machine programming, machine wiring and testingExperience with industrial equipment such as motors, drives, conveyors, pneumatic systems, and automated production equipmentExperience working in a manufacturing or technical support role within a medium production environmentStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsFamiliarity with ASRS warehouse systems and automated material handling equipment preferredAbility to read and interpret manuals, work orders, mechanical drawings and electrical schematics to perform diagnostics and repairsAbility to communicate effectively with operators, technicians, and engineering teamsBasic understanding of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement principlesStrong working knowledge of PLC systems and associated programming languages (e.g., Ladder Logic, FBD)Proficient in MS Office; SAP ERP experience is a plus Duties and Responsibilities: Provide hands-on technical support to maintain equipment for Electronic Assembly, Solutions, Mechanical Assembly, and ASRS operations Assist operators and technicians by troubleshooting equipment to minimize downtimeMaintain and Troubleshoot the Automated Storage and Retrieval SystemDocument work in CMMS and follow LOTO / Safety standardsStrong Electrical troubleshooting skills (24VDC, 120/208/240/480V Systems)Work with ME team to support process improvements by identifying inefficiencies, defects, and opportunities for increased productivity and qualityFollow and promote compliance with safety regulations, quality standards (ISO 9001), and company proceduresPerform equipment troubleshooting, coordinating with maintenance and engineering as neededAccurately complete documentation and reports to support traceability and complianceSupport New Product Introduction (NPI) activities by assisting engineering and quality teams during launches and trialsEscalate recurring issues, safety concerns, or systemic problems to the Technical Supervisor This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by this employee.
