Our new advisor will bring their industry knowledge, a can-do attitude, and technical proficiency to the role.\r\nOur team is strong and tech-savvy, supportive and encouraging, and we genuinely enjoy nurturing our students. We are committed to your success, and ready to share with the right candidate our everyday best-practices and comprehensive resources. We truly believe in the importance of team and community.\r\nAs an Avalon Advisor, you'll help high school students identify and apply-to a set of colleges that reflects their interests, academic accomplishments and anticipated professional pursuits. You would need to be available for online meetings with students and families, as well as some in-person meetings at our Menlo Park office.\r\nWe're planning to welcome our new advisor between March and June.\r\nPreferred guidelines for qualified applicants\r\nUndergraduate admissions experience\r\nUndergraduate reading experience\r\nCollege counseling experience at a high school\r\nPast essay review for undergraduate applications\r\nStrong written and verbal communication skills for both parents and students\r\nExperience with STEM applicants and international students\r\nBachelor's degree required.
