This is a part-time, hybrid role — 20 to 24 hours per week — combining on-site work at Orbis headquarters with remote flexibility. The intern will gain hands-on exposure to the operational functions of a fast-paced national security technology company, contributing to real work that supports mission-critical outcomes.\nThis opportunity is ideal for a current undergraduate student who is driven, organized, and eager to develop professional skills in an operationally rigorous environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nSupport day-to-day operational activities across business functions, including scheduling, coordination, and logistics\nAssist with documentation, process tracking, and internal reporting\nConduct research and analysis to support operational planning and decision-making\nHelp maintain and organize internal records, databases, and knowledge management systems\nCollaborate with team members across departments to support ongoing projects and priorities\nParticipate in team meetings, briefings, and working sessions as appropriate\nPerform other operational duties as assigned by the supervising team\nQualifications\nRequired:\nCurrently enrolled as an undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field\nStrong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)\nAbility to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment\nProfessional demeanor and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion\nPreferred:\nPrior internship, work, or volunteer experience in an office or operational setting\nFamiliarity with project management tools or productivity platforms\nInterest in national security, defense technology, or government operations\nGPA of 3.0 or above\nWhat You Will Gain\nDirect exposure to operations inside a mission-driven national security technology company\nMentorship from experienced practitioners with backgrounds in defense, intelligence, and enterprise technology\nPractical experience supporting real operational workflows — not hypothetical projects\nProfessional development in a structured, high-performance environment\nNetworking opportunities with professionals across the national security and technology sectors\nPhysical Requirements\nSedentary Work: Primarily performs work in a seated position for extended periods of time; occasionally required to stand, walk, or move about the work area\nFine Motor Skills: Regularly required to use hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other standard office equipment\nVision: Ability to read and view a computer screen for extended periods; close vision and the ability to adjust focus required\nHearing & Speech: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in person, via telephone, and through video conferencing platforms; ability to hear and understand spoken information in a professional setting\nLifting: Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds (e.g., files, documents, office supplies)\nConcentration: Ability to maintain focus and attention to detail in a professional office or remote work environment\nOrbis Operations is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
