{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"27ab1e01643e5ce80a26dcfb","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/27ab1e01643e5ce80a26dcfb","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/27ab1e01643e5ce80a26dcfb","title":"2025 Entry Level - Interior Certification Engineer","description":"2025 Entry Level - Interior Certification Engineer\nDescription\nJOB SUMMARY:\nTo provide technical input, certification guidance, and scheduling in support of the certification of Interiors projects.This position presents the opportunity to develop a strong background in certification for those interested in possibly becoming Unit Members.\nJOB RESPONSIBILITIES:\nProvide key technical assistance in compiling technical information and documents in support of Interior certification projects utilizing standard procedures and practices.\nInitiate and drive collaborative technical discussions with design teams and ODA Unit Members in order to determine certification requirements and necessary documentation for each project.\nAuthor test plans, results reports, compliance reports and certification plans\nDevelop and present Type Board Presentations to internal certification staff as well as regulatory authorities.\nDevelop and maintain schedule to guide completion of required documents in a timeframe that supports project certification schedules.\nAnalyze current processes and procedures to identify and implement changes to standardize and streamline the creation of certification documents.\nMust be willing to take ownership of tasks to ensure they are completed on time and with a high degree of accuracy.\nRequires frequent contact with ODA and design engineering personnel to obtain and furnish information.\nPerforms other related duties as required.\nEDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:\nBachelor’s Degree in:\nAerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Engineering Management, orrelated Engineering field.\nRequires broad training in engineering related or technical principles, data and computer technology.\nCertification experience is preferred but not required.\nEngineering experience or relative aviation technical experience preferred.\nLess than 2 years of professional experience in a relevant role\nQualifications\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nTechnical Writing Proficiency.\nTime management skills are required to work multiple concurrent projects of various size and scope.\nProficient in use of standard Microsoft Office and Adobe programs\nExcellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (both verbal and written).\nApplicants must be authorized to work lawfully in the U.S. for Textron Aviation at the time of making application, and visa sponsorship is not available for this position, including for F-1 students and J-1 exchange visitors who will need employment sponsorship.\nThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this job.
