We are always looking for driven, enthusiastic people to join our team.\r\nSummary\r\nResponsible for providing employment/vocational services to consumers. Assesses barriers to employment and coordinate consumer’s Individual Career/Financial Plans with the case management team, thereby enabling them to become self-sufficient. Provides coaching to consumers on appropriate workplace behavior and job readiness skills though an organized, blended-learning classroom model.\r\nResponsible for adherence of all requirements related to specific funding sources. This includes maintaining necessary records, submitting weekly reports as required, and providing input to referral sources regarding individual placement progress.\r\nMaintain accurate and timely consumer records utilizing Salesforce case management system.\r\nProvide coaching to consumers on appropriate workplace behaviors and job readiness skills through an organized, blended-learning classroom setting.\r\nMaintain curricula and materials for job search and job readiness classes.\r\nIdentify potential barriers to employment which consumers may face and coordinates with case management team to implement a plan to overcome those barriers.\r\nProvide comprehensive assessments, job seeking skills, career counseling, exploration and job development to consumers.\r\nInitiate contact with prospective employers to determine personnel needs and arrange interviews for consumers.\r\nEnsure that paperwork is in compliance with GESMV guidelines and regulations.\r\nMeet or exceed individual and departmental program goals as established with supervisor.\r\nEnsure consumer’s continued success by performing routine retention visits in accordance with contractual guidelines and assist consumer with the removal of any barriers that may prevent them from maintaining their employment.\r\nComplete other duties as assigned.\r\nComply with all agency policies, procedures, and safety standards throughout work areas and maintains same to meet CARF, HIPAA, Department of Labor, and other regulatory standards.\r\nSupervisory Responsibilities\r\nNone.\r\nEducation Requirements\r\nBachelor's Degree in Vocational Rehabilitation, Business Education, Social Science, or minimum of five years’ experience in field of vocational rehabilitation or job development.\r\nExperience in the field may be substituted for Bachelor’s Degree.\r\nExperience Requirements\r\nInvolvement in implementation and development of training programs for adults with disabling and disadvantaging conditions.\r\nLeading candidates will have a strong background in instructing, vocational rehabilitation, vocational assessment, and job placement services.\r\nQualifications\r\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
