This role facilitates communication across teams, supports model management and clash detection, and serves as a key liaison between office and field operations.\n\nWhat You'll Do:\n\nBIM Implementation & Standards\n\nAssist in executing BIM VDC processes on assigned projects.\nSupport development and maintenance of BIM Execution Plans (BEPs).\nEnsure adherence to company standards, client requirements, and industry best practices.\n\nModeling & Coordination\n\nManage coordination models using Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and related BIM tools.\nPerform clash detection and track resolution of coordination issues across trades.\nProduce 2D drawings, shop drawings, and model-based documentation.\nProvide model extracts and coordination reports to project teams.\n\nCollaboration & Communication\n\nServe as a liaison between Detailer I/II roles and the BIM VDC Lead.\nCoordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and field teams to ensure accurate system integration.\nParticipate in and occasionally lead coordination meetings.\nCommunicate effectively with project managers, foremen, and field crews to ensure constructability and timely issue resolution.\n\nTraining & Team Support\n\nMentor and guide BIM VDC Detailer I and II team members.\nAssist with onboarding and training in BIM VDC workflows and software.\nStay informed on BIM VDC advancements and recommend process improvements.\nPerform additional duties as assigned.\n\nAdditional duties as assigned.\n\nWhat You'll Bring:\n\nKnowledge, Skills & Abilities\n\nProficiency with Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, or comparable BIM VDC software.\nUnderstanding of construction processes and project life cycles.\nStrong communication and collaboration capabilities across diverse project teams.\nAnalytical mindset with strong attention to detail.\nExperience with cloud-based collaboration platforms.\n\nDemonstrated Accomplishments\n\nProven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary BIM models and resolve conflicts efficiently.\nDemonstrated success in maintaining project standards and supporting consistent BIM VDC execution.\nTrack record of fostering collaboration between technical and field teams to ensure constructible solutions.\nExperience contributing to team development through mentorship and knowledge sharing.\n\nEducation & Experience\n\nAssociate or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Computer Aided Drafting, or a related field, or a relevant combination of education and experience.\nExperience supporting large-scale projects preferred.\nElectrical construction experience preferred.\nCertifications in BIM VDC-related technologies are a plus.\nWhat You'll Get:\n\nWorking Conditions:\n\nThe majority of the time you will work in a typical office environment. Occasionally, you may travel to a construction job site. When on construction job sites you will encounter typical construction conditions including extreme temperatures, noise, dust, mud debris, welding, leading edge, trenching, and shoring, sometimes in a confined space. You may be required to visit multiple locations during any one day.\n\nBenefits Overview:\n\nIME provides an industry-leading comprehensive benefits package. Full-time employees are eligible to choose from a variety of healthcare coverage options, which become effective the first of the month after hire.
