Our focus is evolving these systems toward greater automation, improved observability, and increasingly self-healing behavior.The platform relies heavily on open source networking technologies , combined with internal tooling and automation.Technical OwnershipEngineers on this team take ownership of complex connectivity problems that span applications, distributed systems, and network behavior.Many challenges do not have established playbooks. Engineers investigate issues, experiment with solutions, and turn operational lessons into automation, tooling, and platform improvements as the platform continues evolving toward more resilient systems.We're Looking For Engineers WhoAre comfortable working in Linux-based systems environmentsUnderstand core Internet protocols (TCP/IP, TLS, HTTP)Write code to solve infrastructure problems ( Python preferred )Enjoy debugging complex distributed systemsAre interested in improving infrastructure through automation and engineeringYou'll Need To Have4+ years working with Linux/Unix systems in a networking or infrastructure roleStrong understanding of TCP/IP, TLS/SSL, and HTTPExperience troubleshooting network behavior using tools such as Wireshark or tcpdumpProgramming experience ( Python preferred )Interest in improving infrastructure through automation and engineeringA degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar field of study or equivalent work experienceBonus PointsExperience with CDNs, proxies, or edge infrastructureExperience integrating or extending open source networking softwareExperience with observability platforms (Splunk, Humio)Experience building internal infrastructure toolingSalary Range = 160000 - 240000 USD Annually + Benefits + BonusThe referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting.
