This role takes ownership of moderately complex development efforts from requirements through deployment, contributes to application support, and partners with business analysts, project teams, and stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable solutions that support business objectives. The Software Developer exercises sound judgment, upholds coding standards, and actively contributes to team practices and continuous improvement.\r\nPrimary Responsibilities\r\nBuild, test, and debug enhancements or new features in business applications independently and with minimal guidance.\r\nDesign and develop new applications based on business requirements, translating needs into technical solutions with limited direction.\r\nCollaborate with team members on software design, coding standards, and best practices; actively contributes to shaping team standards.\r\nParticipate meaningfully in code reviews, daily stand-ups, and sprint planning sessions; provides constructive feedback to peers.\r\nTroubleshoot and resolve moderate-to-complex bugs or production issues with limited escalation.\r\nDesign and document solutions, processes, and technical specifications; maintains documentation for all owned systems and features.\r\nEvaluate emerging technologies and frameworks and proactively recommend applicable improvements to the stack.\r\nServe as an escalation point for support tickets and system alerts; identifies recurring patterns and proposes systemic solutions.\r\nLead troubleshooting, testing, and validation of application features within assigned areas.\r\nCoordinate with teammates and external partners when resolving complex issues.\r\nIdentify and implement improvements to streamline support processes and automation.\r\nUses sound judgment in complex technical situations.\r\nManages priorities and commitments with minimal oversight.\r\nAnalyzes and resolves moderately complex technical issues effectively.\r\nCommunicates clearly with technical and non-technical audiences.\r\nRaises questions, risks, and ambiguities early.\r\nWorks independently and pursues professional growth.\r\nProficient in Agile SDLC practices.\r\nPeople Management\r\nNone\r\nPhysical Demands\r\nLift/carry 20 lbs.\r\nAbility to sit majority of shift\r\nExpected Hours of Work\r\nThis is a full-time position. Days/hours of work vary and may include weekends and overtime as necessary.\r\nTravel\r\nLocal travel only\r\nPreferred Knowledge/Skills\r\nExperience with AWS, Azure, or GCP deployment and configuration.\r\nExperience with web development languages including HTML, CSS, React, Angular and Python.\r\nKnowledge of RESTful API design and integrations.\r\nFamiliar with artificial intelligence concepts.\r\nStrong SQL and relational database skills.\r\nAzure Logic and Function Apps.\r\nProficient with CI/CD and DevOps practices.\r\nRequired Education and Experience\r\n3+ years of professional software development experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.\r\nSolid understanding of computer science fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, and relational database design.\r\nDemonstrated experience with Git or equivalent version control system.\r\nDemonstrated ability to manage full development lifecycle tasks from design through deployment independently.\r\nStrong problem-solving ability and effective communication skills.\r\nPreferred Education and Experience\r\nAssociate degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar training or equivalent work experience.\r\nCompensation\r\nActual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.\r\nEmployees (and their families) are eligible for medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance.
