Remote opportunity with East Coast hours.\nPOSITION SUMMARY:\nThe Systems Test Engineer - Financial Systems & Royalties (contract) validates the successful implementation, integration,\nand ongoing operation of a royalties platform and related financial systems.\nThis role combines royalty and rights management subject matter expertise with exceptional technical\ntesting and systems analysis skills. The position will work closely with business stakeholders,\nimplementation partners, engineering teams, and finance to ensure accurate royalty calculations,\nintegrations, reporting, and operational workflows.\nThe ideal candidate has experience testing complex financial systems, royalties, Employee Resource\nPlanning (ERP) integrations, or contract-driven business processes in media, entertainment, or\ndistribution environments.\n\nWORK EXPERIENCE:\nMedia, entertainment, distribution, or licensing industry experience preferred\nDevelop and execute test plans, test cases, regression testing, and end-to-end validation scenarios for royalty workflows.\nConduct royalty calculations, including but not limited to:\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nDevelop and execute test plans, test cases, regression testing, and end-to-end validation scenarios for royalty workflows.\nConduct royalty calculations, including but not limited to:\nAdvances and recoupment\nBonuses\nMinimum guarantees\nTiered royalties\nParticipant splits\nConsolidator structures\n\nPerform functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing across Rightsline, Alliant, D365, and related systems.\nAnalyze configuration and business requirements to ensure accurate system setup and testing coverage.\nValidate inbound/outbound integrations, API transactions, and financial data mappings.\nReconcile system outputs against legacy calculations and expected business results.\nSupport defect triage, issue resolution, and release validation activities.\nCreate and maintain testing documentation, traceability matrices, issue logs, and validation reports.\nCollaborate with business users, finance, IT, and vendors throughout implementation and enhancement projects.\nSupport ongoing process improvement, automation, and operational support initiatives.\nServe as an independent validation resource during the Rightsline Alliant implementation by reviewing configurations, calculations, workflows, and testing outputs to ensure solutions are aligned with documented business requirements, financial expectations, and operational processes.
