This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire.\n\nPress Assistant Responsibilities include but are not limited to:\n- Continuously checks product and monitors quality of blisters and cards.\n- Records appropriate documentation as needed on a daily basis.\n- Willing/able to work as part of a team.\n- Communicates non-conformance to lead operator\n- Properly moves products from staging areas to machines.\n- Able to run machinery at appropriate speeds and scrap levels.\n- Able to perform daily preventive maintenance.\n- Able to change basic press tooling.\n- Keeps machine and work area clean and organized.\n- Continuously follows instructions/directions of Startup and End of Day Cleanup Procedures.\n- Willing/able to run the Heat Seal machine the lead, or supervision, assigns.\n- Communicates with co-workers and supervision in a professional manner.\n- Perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner.\n\nPress Assistant Requirements:\n- Able to troubleshoot mechanical or process control problems.\n- Able to properly navigate and use the Auto count system to require standards.\n- Have the ability to differentiate between various colors and shades as part of quality control and product inspection duties.\n- Attendance on-site required.\n\nIND124\n\nAbout us:\nQPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
