Forklift Operator – Job Summary
Join the team as a Forklift Operator, where you'll play a key role in safely moving, stacking, and tracking products throughout the warehouse. You'll operate powered industrial trucks, supportshipping/receiving,and help keep inventory accurate—all while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity.
What You'll Do
Warehouse Operations
Safely unload, move, and store inbound products
Operate forklifts and other MHE to transport materials
Pick, prepare, and stage orders accurately and efficiently
Ensure all documentation and WMS entries are correct
Quality & Inventory
Inspect inbound/outbound shipments to prevent damage
Maintain accurate inventory records
Assist with physical counts and proper stock rotation
Safety & Facility Care
Keep work areas clean and organized
Follow all safety policies and daily equipment inspections
Assist with minor facility and equipment maintenance
Other Duties
Change forklift fuel tanks, label, sort, wrap, and re-pack as needed
Repair pallets or assist with dock tasks
Work overtime when required
What You Need
High school diploma or GED
6+ months experience in distribution, logistics, or warehouse work
Forklift certification (or ability to obtain)
Ability to work in varying temperatures
Basic computer and RF scanner skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Comfortable lifting 21–50 lbs. and being on your feet
Preferred
1–2 yearswarehouse/logisticsexperience
1–2 years forklift experience
Current MHE certification
