We offer customized, individualized rehabilitation tailored to the specific needs of those recovering from a stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.\r\nHow you’ll contributeACertified Nurse Aide who excels in this role:\r\nPerform patient care responsibilities considering needs specific to the standard of care for patient’s age.\r\nNotify appropriate licensed personnel when patient complains of pain.\r\nPrepare patients for meals; serve and remove food trays and assist with meals or feed patients if necessary.\r\nAnswer patient call lights, anticipate patient's needs and make rounds to assigned patients.\r\nAssist patients with the handling of personal property: dentures, glasses, contact lenses, hearing aids, prosthetic devices, etc.\r\nPerform all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors.\r\nTransport patients to and from various departments in the hospital.\r\nReport and, when appropriate, record any changes observed in condition or behavior of patients and unusual incidents.\r\nAssist in the preparation of admissions, transfers and discharge of patients.\r\nAssist licensed nursing staff with treatment procedures.\r\nProvide general nursing care: position patients, lift and turn patients, utilize special equipment, assist patients with the bedpan, commode; assist ambulating patients.\r\nObtain and record temperature, pulse, respirations, blood pressure, weight, intake and output.\r\nMake rounds with oncoming shift to ensure the unit is left in good condition.\r\nConsult other departments, as appropriate, to provide for an interdisciplinary approach to the patient’s needs.\r\nOther duties as assigned\r\nWhat we’re looking forApplicants should have:\r\nCompletion of course for nursing assistants\r\nCurrent state certification as a Nursing Assistant\r\nCPR/BCLS Certification\r\nMinimum six months experience in an acute or long-term facility preferred.\r\nExcellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.\r\nSchedule: Per Diem (PRN)Whyjoin usWe believethat investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care.
