We empower our team to create and implement programs that best serve their patients and communities.Position OverviewWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced Hospice Community Liaison to join our growing team. This role is essential in building strong relationships with referral sources, increasing awareness of hospice services, and driving growth through strategic outreach and education.Hospice Community LiaisonSequoia Hospice of the East Bay - Contra Costa County, CAPay Range: $100,000 - $130,000 per year + Incentive StructureJob Type: Full-TimeKey ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain relationships with physicians, discharge planners, case managers, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.Identify and engage potential hospice patients through regular visits to referral sources.Represent Sequoia Hospice at community events, health fairs, and civic functions.Conduct ongoing market assessments and develop strategic marketing plans to meet volume goals.Collaborate with the Executive Director to implement effective marketing strategies.Negotiate service contracts with managed care organizations, government agencies, and other payers.Monitor and enhance community and customer perceptions of Sequoia Hospice as a high-quality provider.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, coverage criteria, and regulatory changes.Provide leadership in identifying opportunities for service expansion and improvement.Assist customers in accessing community resources when services fall outside of hospice scope.Track and report on the cost-effectiveness of marketing efforts. QualificationsBachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field preferred.Minimum 3 years of healthcare marketing experience, preferably in hospice or home health.Proven ability to build relationships and market services effectively.Strong communication, negotiation, and public relations skills.Knowledge of healthcare business operations and payer systems.Self-motivated, organized, and adaptable with a collaborative mindset.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
