{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"2735f63bdd20069ed200bc21","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/2735f63bdd20069ed200bc21","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/2735f63bdd20069ed200bc21","title":"Material Control Specialist II","description":"Material Control Specialist IIIncrease your chances of an interview by reading the following overview of this role before making an application.Onsite: Greer, SC\r\nAbout the Job\r\nDuration: Long Term Renewable Contract (possibility of extension)\r\nLocation: - Onsite: Greer, SC/ After onboarding, the team has one rotating work‐from‐home day\r\nShift: A-Shift\r\nPay rate: Hourly, depending on experience\r\nJob ID: 5347\r\nResponsibilities:\r\nPerforms basic data processing and parameter administration in the Material Control System\r\nControls part availability for series production, run-in/run-out, and technical/software changes to minimize obsolescence\r\nMonitors internal supply chain processes across Procurement, Engineering, Assembly, and Logistics\r\nMaintains and analyzes monthly Supplier Ratings and yearly SUMIS ratings and initiates corrective actions\r\nMonitors training of new hires\r\nPlans and controls supplies to ensure correct quantity and software level while optimizing stock\r\nInterrogates multiple data sources (GPS, TAIS, SAP) to ensure data integrity\r\nEnsures proper escalation and information flow regarding E/E issues\r\nExecutes internal and external delivery requirements on time\r\nCoordinates with Procurement, Engineering, Physical Logistics, Assembly, and Manufacturing Technologies\r\nEnsures material availability for future requirements at correct software levels\r\nCoordinates economical transportation with freight providers and LLP\r\nReviews floor and warehouse inventories and adjusts systems as required\r\nCoordinates build-outs, design changes, and software level changes with departments and vendors\r\nRuns MRP reports, supplier releases, and delivery schedules\r\nCoordinates flash campaigns and line-feed situations\r\nDetermines flash locations and transportation mode changes\r\nCoordinates hardware breaks and E/E changes\r\nReports on current status, cost savings, obsolescence, and E/E issues\r\nImplements process improvements and cost-saving initiatives\r\nParticipates in CCB, CoC, SIT, and I-Stufen meetings\r\nPerforms other duties as assigned by Operations Supervisor.\r\nQualifications:\r\nEducation: BA/BS in Logistics, Business Administration, International Business OR 4 years equivalent experience in Material Planning/MRP\r\nExperience: 4+ years in Material Planning including MRP\r\nTraining: As applicable per Training Guidelines\r\nLicenses/Certifications: None required\r\nSkills:\r\nAdvanced Microsoft Office skills\r\nAdvanced SAP and TAIS knowledge preferred\r\nAdvanced verbal and written communication skills\r\nAdvanced leadership skills\r\nGerman or Spanish language skills preferred. xywuqvp\r\nAbout our Company\r\nDataSoft Technologies is a highly recognized provider of professional IT Consulting services in the US.
