The MRI Tech will perform high-quality MRI procedures while working closely with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare staff to ensure excellent patient care and accurate imaging results.ResponsibilitiesPerform MRI scans according to established protocols and physician ordersPrepare and position patients for imaging procedures while ensuring comfort and safetyAdminister IV contrast injections as neededOperate and troubleshoot MRI equipment efficientlyMaintain accurate patient records and documentation in EPIC and PACS systemsCollaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to support patient careFollow all safety, infection control, and MRI screening proceduresParticipate in maintaining quality assurance standards within the departmentScheduleWeekend shift schedule with rotating call requirementsCall coverage required during designated weekends and eveningsRequirementsARRT (MR) certification requiredBLS certification requiredMinimum 1 year of MRI experience requiredPrevious GE MRI experience strongly preferredExperience with EPIC and PACS preferredStrong knowledge of MRI safety protocols and patient care standardsUnit DetailsWork across both hospital and outpatient imaging settingsAverage daily volume of approximately 22 examsClosed MRI units with GE 1.5T equipmentTechnologists will perform IV starts and administer contrast as neededAbout MedasourceHere at Medasource, the heartbeat of healthcare meets boundless opportunities!
