Become a maker of possible with us.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in monitoring sterilization processes and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs)Support updates to procedures and ISO documentationHelp identify opportunities for process improvements related to safety, quality, and efficiencyParticipate in data collection, analysis, and reporting of equipment performance and trendsAssist in tracking equipment uptime and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE)Support project activities, including documentation, coordination, and execution tasksCollaborate with Engineering and Quality teams on process issues and corrective actionsHelp with training documentation and support operator/technician onboarding where neededQualificationsEducation & ExperienceCurrently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, or related field)Prior internship, co-op, or coursework related to manufacturing or engineering preferred but not requiredSkills & AbilitiesBasic understanding of engineering principles and problem-solving techniquesStrong analytical and organizational skillsAbility to interpret technical information and follow proceduresComfortable working with data (Excel or similar tools)Good communication skills and willingness to learn in a team environmentWork EnvironmentExposure to a manufacturing setting, including equipment, varying temperatures, and operational areasSafety training and personal protective equipment will be providedPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, and perform light physical tasksMay require occasional lifting (up to ~10 lbs)Development OpportunitiesGain real-world experience in sterilization and regulated manufacturingLearn about process improvement, compliance, and equipment performanceWork alongside experienced engineers and cross-functional teamsAt BD, we prioritize on-site collaboration because we believe it fosters creativity, innovation, and effective problem-solving, which are essential in the fast-paced healthcare industry. For most roles, we require a minimum of 4 days of in-office presence per week to maintain our culture of excellence and ensure smooth operations, while also recognizing the importance of flexibility and work-life balance.
