Your expertise in PHP web development and deep understanding of Drupal's code structure will be crucial in delivering high-quality solutions.\nResponsibilities\nWork within a project team to build website applications in an efficient manner\nBuild efficient, testable, and reusable PHP code\nConduct analysis of website and application requirements and vulnerabilities\nSolve complex performance problems and architectural challenges\nTroubleshoot/debug application and code issues\nIntegration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers\nBe an advocate for the users and your clients, anticipating what they need before they ask and presenting possible solutions or recommendations\nBe an ambassador for August Ash and your team\nBasic Requirements:\nMinimum of 3–5 years PHP web development experience with Drupal development in the last 2 years\nFirm grasp of Git-based source control\nCompetent with MySQL-based database concepts\nFamiliarity with automated deployment strategies\nSolutions-oriented thinking; always looking for the smart solution to a problem rather than jumping at the first answer\nA preoccupation with staying on top of industry trends and technologies\nYou embrace simplicity and elegance over technical complexity when designing solutions\nProven Skills & Technical Requirements:\nExpert understanding of Drupal's code structure, module architecture, and theming components\nExpertise in authoring and extending Drupal modules\nThorough experience in leveraging Drupal's hook & API systems, views, entities, taxonomies, and other site building blocks\nThorough knowledge of Drupal's feature set and configuration\nCompetent in authoring JavaScript\nCompetent in web services integrations (REST/SOAP)\nA desire to be personally responsible for production-level code\nIngenuity to leverage all available tools at your disposal\nComfort working with Linux-based systems\nBonus Qualifications:\nDrush is a huge plus\nExperience in e-commerce integrations/implementations is a huge plus\nExperience with caching and scaling techniques\nExperience in multi-lingual implementations\nExperience with Pantheon platform\nExperience with CSS preprocessors like SASS\nContributions to the open-source community\nThis position is a full-time position with benefits including health, dental, STD, LTD, Life, 401(k), and paid vacation.
