Utility Worker for our Chico, Ca. location.\nPay: $16.00-$20.00/hr.\nOverview\nThe Utility worker must be able to perform basic vehicle and servicing duties. They must also be able to perform detail cleaning and fueling of equipment and cleaning the facility with limited supervision. The Utility worker will be responsible for pulling the vaults and replacing them daily as the revenue units return from service. This position requires the ability to work all shifts including nights and weekends.\nPrimary Job Function:\nMaintain the cleanliness of fleet vehicles - interior and exterior\nDrive, maneuver, and park vehicles\nFuel buses, replenish fluids, and log & record all fluids\nPerform light maintenance to shop areas, fueling stations, and related facilities.\nReport maintenance issues to the Supervisor\nQualifications\nValid Driver's License\nClean driving record\nMust be able to work night and weekends\nAbility to work in a team setting\n\nPhysical requirements:\nLess than 10% of work is accomplished in doors and in air conditioned or well ventilated facilities\nGreater than 90% of work is accomplished in an open garage facility.\nPerforms physical activities that require considerable use of the arms, repetitive hand wrist motion, and legs and moving the whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials.\nMay be asked to lift and carry up to 60 pounds.\nMay be exposed to cleaning chemicals, you have access to safety protective gear.\nAbout Transdev\nCities, counties, airports, companies, and universities across the U.S. contract with Transdev to operate their transportation systems, maintain their vehicle and fleets, and deliver on mobility solutions.
