The position is remote.\n1. Evaluate large data sets containing candidates for inclusion in the company’s ontology\n2. Work closely with engineers, data scientists, ontologists, and taxonomists to standardize and model new ontology terms\n3. In partnership with the ontology team, develop a methodology to improve accuracy and efficiency of ontology updates; participate in ontology launches\n4. Research external ontology sources and determine whether they present opportunities to increase ontology coverage\n5. Ability to quickly understand complex processes and communicate them in simple language\n6. Work with pharma business unit stakeholders such as biology, chemistry, research, commercial, and others to build ontology in those business areas\n7. Support and manage ontologies tools such as Protégé\n8.
