A flexible 9x80 schedule is required.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nParticipate in requirements analysis, configuration determination, design, alterations, material procurement, manufacturing, test, and acceptance for electrical and electromechanical test systems supporting the US Navy’s Ballistic Missile Flight Test Program.\n\nMentor junior engineers and interface extensively with customers and senior leadership.\n\nCreate and update project/process documentation that aligns with project requirements.\n\nLead the design, procurement, assembly, test, and verification of automated test systems, including data review and trending.\n\nDevelop hardware requirements from subsystem to all locally assigned support equipment test systems.\n\nInterface with suppliers, customers, and internal design teams to provide cost‑effective and low‑risk solutions.\n\nDevelop test system design documentation to communicate proposed designs to internal teams, vendors, and customers.\n\nSupport Failure Review Board activities through closure.\n\nTravel and work at alternate work sites as required, less than 25% of the time.\n\nQualifications\n\n3+ years of professional experience in electrical hardware design and test.\n\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.\n\nHardware development and Automated Test Equipment (ATE) experience.\n\nExperience with interconnect design.\n\nExperience with Creo, Windchill, Zuken, or Pspice.\n\nExperience leading project teams and development efforts.\n\nAbility to work autonomously and drive items to closure.\n\nExperience with product life cycle (development, deployment, retirement).\n\nIssue tracking experience.\n\nMust obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance; US citizenship is required.\n\nDesired Skills\n\nCapability to lead a team responsible for development and testing of integrated test systems, with subject‑matter expertise.\n\nExperience with Telemetry Data Processing (TDP).\n\nExperience working with RF.\n\nDemonstrated ability to lead/coordinate small diverse teams in product development.\n\nReading schematic diagrams and other technical documentation.\n\nTroubleshooting system‑level issues.\n\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\n\nBenefits\nMedical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, Employee Assistance Program, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid Time Off, and Holidays.\n\nEEO Statement\nLockheed Martin is an equal opportunity employer.
