Other duties may be assigned.\nWrites and optimizes SQL queries and builds ETL pipelines to extract, transform, and integrate data into centralized databases/warehouses\nBuilds custom reports and visualizations using business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker Studio)\nCreates and administers a Microsoft Fabric environment supporting Power BI dashboards, including workspace setup, virtual machine ODBC maintenance, and dataflows\nSupports API integrations connecting internal platforms with third-party tools/client systems\nUses Python, Google Apps Script, or similar scripting languages to automate recurring data processes and build automated reports pulling from cloud databases\nUses AI tools (e.g., Claude, Gemini) as part of daily workflow to accelerate query writing and code development\nCollaborates with cross-functional teams to gather requirements for asset management dashboards and reports used for planning, budgeting, and performance tracking\nPartners with corporate departments (e.g., Safety, HR, Accounting, Pursuits) to scope and build dashboards supporting their workflows\nPresents data findings and dashboard walkthroughs to internal stakeholders and clients\nEnsures high data integrity by troubleshooting and resolving data/reporting issues, including bug reporting and data cleansing/validation during large-scale migrations\nDevelops and maintains documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (for internal team use and client self-service) and data dictionaries/process docs\nAdjusts priorities as new requests or issues arise\nBachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a related field (Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Business Administration, or similar)\n1–5 years of experience working as a Data Analyst or in a related field\nIntermediate proficiency with SQL, DAX, and/or JavaScript, and proficient in data analysis using Excel and Google Sheets\nWorking knowledge of Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Apps Script) and Microsoft Office (Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)\nKnowledge of relational databases and data warehouses (e.g., BigQuery, OneLake, AWS, Azure)\nKnowledge of business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio)\nExperience with a scripting/programming language (Python, R) for data analysis and automation\nExperience with ETL tools or data pipeline development\nDemonstrated experience working with AI agents and assistants (e.g., Claude, Gemini, Copilot) in analytics and development contexts\nExperience with Microsoft Fabric and/or Deltek Vantagepoint preferred\nKnowledge of Asset Management principles for physical assets is preferred\nVersion control (Git) experience preferred\nStrong verbal and written communication skills, including experience presenting data insights to both technical and client/leadership audiences\nDetail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills","company":"Collins Engineers","rawCompany":"collins engineers","city":"Chicago","state":"IL","isRemote":false,"isActive":false,"createdAt":"2026-08-09T11:11:38.204Z","occupations":[{"code":"15-1243.01","title":"Data Warehousing Specialists","slug":"data-warehousing-specialists"},{"code":"15-1211.00","title":"Computer Systems Analysts","slug":"computer-systems-analysts"},{"code":"15-2051.01","title":"Business Intelligence Analysts","slug":"business-intelligence-analysts"}],"industries":[{"code":"541512","title":"Computer Systems Design Services","slug":"computer-systems-design-services"},{"code":"541330","title":"Engineering Services","slug":"engineering-services"},{"code":"541690","title":"Other Scientific and Technical Consulting Services","slug":"other-scientific-and-technical-consulting-services"}],"jobPosting":{"@context":"https://schema.org","@type":"JobPosting","title":"Data Analyst (Software Implementation)","description":"For over forty years, Collins Engineers, Inc.
