This role partners closely with functional leadership on compliance, project management, reporting, and related initiatives, while supporting Sofidel’s mission of maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental performance.\nThe EHS Corporate Special Project Manager reports to the Director of EHS and will design, develop, and implement programs in alignment with local, state, and federal requirements as well as ISO 45001:2018 standards.\nKey Responsibilities:\nCollaborate with the Director of EHS on strategies to minimize risk and enhance workplace safety.\nDevelop, implement, and monitor key performance metrics to evaluate program effectiveness.\nLead continuous improvement initiatives to standardize EHS programs across Sofidel America.\nCoordinate EHS audits and assessments and serve as ISO program coordinator and document controller.\nEnsure compliance with ISO standards through training, documentation, and audits.\nIdentify gaps in EHS procedures, track trends, and implement improvements.\nPromote EHS culture through communication, training, and employee engagement.\nGenerate and present data for monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.\nSupport site-level EHS personnel through coaching, guidance, and technical expertise.\nLead by example to drive a proactive culture of prevention, risk reduction, and compliance.\nRequirements:\nBachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety or a related field (or equivalent education/experience).\nMinimum 10 years of professional experience in health, safety, or environmental roles within an industrial setting.\nStrong knowledge of ISO standards and compliance management systems.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.\nAbility to travel up to 20%.\nStrong communication, leadership, and analytical skills.\nAbility to work in an active manufacturing environment with exposure to fluctuating temperatures, paper dust, and noise levels.\nRequired to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety shoes, eye and ear protection, and reflective vests.\nWhy Join Sofidel America?\n·Competitive compensation\nProfessional and safe work environment\nComprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance\n401(k) with company match and access to a financial advisor\nPaid vacation and time off to support work-life balance\nOngoing professional training and development\nEqual Opportunity Employer:\nSofidel America is an equal opportunity employer.
