System Administrator

LOCATION: Fort Meade, MD | Day Shift: Mon-Fri DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Expert knowledge and experience in current Windows client server to include OS configuration, file sharing, DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory. Experience with administration of various Linux operating systems (CentOS, Ubuntu). Experience granting permissions, group policy, responding to trouble tickets Optimize system operations and resource utilization Coordinate, deliver, install, and maintain end user devices (EUDs) hardware and software. Implement ongoing system security compliance measures to include patches and system updates. Knowledge and demonstrated experience and its implementation using VMware vSphere (vCenter/ESXi) and Horizon View (VDI Desktops). Expert knowledge and experience managing NetApp (NFS, CFIS) and Dell EqualLogic (ISCSI). REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE TS/SCI CLEARANCE WITH POLY REQUIRED Desired Skills: Recent System Administration experience with Windows and Linux operating systems Experience working with Privilege Access Management (PAM), Thycotic, Sailpoint and PAM Solution including visualization concepts, understands architecture and has an understanding of JavaScript, XML, and familiarity with AWS. Experience performing system analyzes and planning Intermediate experience with PowerShell scripting and programming. Experience providing Tier 2 and Tier 3 support Practical experience in implementing and maintaining thin-client workstations and virtualization (VDI Desktops). Practical experience in implementing and maintaining virtualization (VDI Desktops). Qualifications: Must have one of the following DoD approved certifications to meet the category/level IAT-2 (DD 8570) requirement for this position: Security+, GSEC, SSCP, CCNA-Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), CASP, GCIH, or GCED. Required Education & Experience: High School/GED (+12) years of relevant experience. AD (+10) years of relevant experience. BA/BD (+6) years of relevant experience.
