This full‑time position offers compensation ranging from $18–$20 per hour depending on experience, benefits (medical, dental, vision, life insurance and STD), and a 401(k) after 90 days.\n\nJob Summary\nThe Environmental, Health, & Safety (EH&S) manager works alongside other key EH&S, Compliance, and Operations members to prevent work injury and support production by maintaining a safe work environment. The EH&S supervisor oversees and coordinates the facility’s EH&S program, supervising personnel and assessing hazardous risks in daily operations.\n\nDuties, Functions and Responsibilities\n\nMaintain all EH&S required records and documentation to remain in compliance with regulations and standards.\n\nSupply, train, and verify that personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hearing protection and respirators are available to personnel, and monitor usage to ensure proper fit and use.\n\nConduct and oversee safety meetings, trainings and tailgates.\n\nKeep good relations and communicate with EH&S laboratories used for analysis and take samples to follow proper EPA State guidelines for laboratory analysis as needed.\n\nWork with Insurance Claims Adjusters on active, litigated, and closed claims.\n\nPrepare Workers Compensation Claims forms on injured employee claims.\n\nEvaluate situations where a worker has refused to work on the grounds that danger or potential harm exists, and determine actions required for minimizing the risk or hazard.\n\nReview facility for EH&S hazards such as exposure to radiation, air contaminants, chemicals, and biological hazards.\n\nAssist with Industrial Hygiene Monitoring, communicating results of air and noise monitoring with all employees.\n\nAssist Loss Prevention to assure security measures are upheld within the applicable areas where sensitive client/customer information is stored.\n\nEnsure EH&S checklists are completed as required and report any issues to proper personnel.\n\nEnsure housekeeping throughout the facility to maintain safety and cleanliness.\n\nMaintain OSHA 300 records for the facility.\n\nReview physicians' reports and conduct worker studies to determine if a job‑related injury occurred.\n\nInspect warehouse with a view toward keeping safe work practices and the proper use of PPE.\n\nInspect all departments in relation to environmental, health, and safety on a frequent basis.\n\nInspect loading and unloading and forklift traffic in shipping and receiving bi‑hourly.\n\nInspect material and waste storage relative to egress, ingress, stacking, and crowding.\n\nAssist Loss Prevention in reviewing security measures to protect ERI assets and watch for theft.\n\nProvide first aid for injuries and maintain the blood‑borne pathogens program.\n\nRemain informed on government regulations pertaining to waste types stored and handled at the facility.\n\nMaintain all OSHA and environmental requirements for trainings and postings.\n\nTrain and review on Job Safety Analysis for high‑hazard job positions and equipment.\n\nTrain and review personnel on company EH&S programs, procedures, and Best Management Practices.\n\nCommunicate compliance issues to management and effectively manage corrective actions.\n\nMaintain CPR/AED and Standard First Aid Certification.\n\nReport ideas for efficiency and continuous improvement to facility leadership.\n\nAdhere to all safety and compliance regulations and standards.\n\nPosition Requirements\n\nHigh School Diploma or GED required.\n\n3–5 years of relevant work experience preferred.\n\nBachelor's degree in a relevant major preferred.\n\nRequired Abilities, Knowledge, and Skills\n\nAbility to use Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook).\n\nGood verbal and communication skills.\n\nAbility to meet deadlines.\n\nOrganized and able to handle and prioritize multiple initiatives at once.\n\nProfessional and possess a positive attitude.\n\nAttributes\nInterpersonal\n\nStrives for continuous improvement and solicits customer feedback to improve service.\n\nTimely response to requests for information, service, and assistance.\n\nStrong influencing and interpersonal skills with proven success interacting with all levels of the organization.\n\nDemonstrates a positive and productive attitude.\n\nDisplays self‑control and keeps emotions under control, even under pressure.\n\nRemains open to others' ideas and tries new things.\n\nSpeaks clearly, listens and gets clarification in one‑on‑one and group settings.\n\nAble to read and interpret written information.\n\nWrites clearly, accurately, and concisely.\n\nSelf‑Management\n\nCompletes tasks correctly and on time or notifies the appropriate person with an alternate plan.\n\nObserves safety and security procedures;
