By doing so, we ensure that our team members are not just employees, but empowered individuals who contribute to the collective success of our company and the communities we serve.\nAbout the Position\nWe are seeking an experienced and successful Sr. Program Scheduler (Civil Engineering/Rail Transit) who will be responsible for the development and maintenance of program schedules, the review and analysis of contractor schedules, and the oversight of third-party consulting firms' schedule management efforts, including development of what-if analyses and maintenance of schedules.\nThis is a full-time, onsite position located in Sacramento, CA.\nResponsibilities\nProvide schedule development, maintenance of schedule data and reporting.\nIdentify/develop/correlate program schedule activities with associated design plans.\nProvide detail for schedule activities based on design plans to reflect the duration and the basis of the duration for construction of element activities. Update schedule data and durations as necessary and as design progresses to identify the basis for construction of element durations.\nWeekly and monthly reporting of schedule analysis and progress; provide periodic updates and documentation to Program/Project Controls.\nManage progress, schedule duration changes, and duration verification basis.\nProvide schedule assumptions and general basis for schedule development. Identify key items which may not be included in structure schedules, such as utility relocations, environmental and or seasonal restrictions, or procurements.\nPerform review and analysis of current in-progress schedules for correlation with future, planned construction schedules; current construction duration estimates vs. future planned construction duration estimates.\nPerform review and analysis of schedules for reliability, risk identification, risk review, and risk assessments; provide recommendations for increased schedule reliability; and identify longest path and critical schedule items.\nSkills and Attributes\nGood verbal and written communication skills.\nEffective organizational and problem-solving skills.\nAttention to detail with excellent follow-through.\nAbility to work independently with minimal direction.\nDemonstrated ability to work under pressure, prioritize, and multi-task.\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in construction management, quantity surveying, engineering or related discipline or equivalent combination of education/experience.\n7+ plus years' experience on large, complex construction projects.\nKnowledge of principles and practices of construction scheduling and scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6).\nProgram and project schedule development and management experience.\nWorking experience with TILOS to produce Time Chainage schedules.\nKnowledge of structures, construction means, methods, staging, procurements, and disciplines. This includes rail and rail systems construction, rail and roadway tunnel construction, rail and roadway bridge construction, retaining wall systems and other systems and structures associated with the operation of a railway.\nExperience developing detailed construction schedules from preliminary and/or conceptual plans.\nExperience identifying and documenting associated schedule risks.\nExperience providing recognizable and understandable work activities and sequences.\nProven experience meeting required deadlines and deliverable dates.\nProficiency with TILOS and P6 software.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)\nDesired Qualifications\n10+ years' experience in scheduling.\nExtensive experience in project controls.\nFamiliarity with rail and roadway transportation projects and disciplines.\nCompensation Details\nThe salary range listed for this role is $175-197k annually.
