This role supports maintenance teams, manages work orders, and interfaces with vendors, suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely execution of maintenance and repair activities.Job Duties:Maintenance Planning & CoordinationSchedule and coordinate preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities across facility systemsWork with management to prioritize and assign work orders based on operational needs and riskMonitor maintenance progress and adjust schedules to address delays or emergent issuesWork Order & CMMS ManagementMaintain accurate records in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)Ensure all work orders are properly documented, tracked, and closed upon completionReview system data for accuracy and resolve discrepanciesVendor & Contractor CoordinationWork with technicians to coordinate external service providers for maintenance, repairs, and inspectionsSupport procurement of materials, equipment, and services in accordance with company proceduresEnsure vendors meet scope, safety, and quality expectationsInventory & Materials ManagementMaintain spare parts and consumables inventory to support maintenance schedules for various organization within Solid Power,Coordinate materials delivery and verify compliance with specificationsOptimize inventory levels to balance availability and cost controlPreventive Maintenance ProgramsWork with System owner engineers and assist in developing and improving preventive and predictive maintenance plansIdentify opportunities to improve reliability and reduce downtime of systems / equipmentTrack maintenance KPIs such as PM completion and work order backlog through the CMMS.Organize and maintain facilities and manufacturing systems Operation & Maintenance documents library and drawing management system.Collaboration & CommunicationParticipate in operations and production meetings to align maintenance prioritiesServe as liaison between facilities, operations, and supply chain teams as required to meet departments objectivesCommunicate maintenance schedules, delays, and risks to stakeholdersSafety & ComplianceEnsure maintenance activities comply with safety standards, policies, and regulatory requirementsCoordinate inspections and support corrective action trackingPromote a strong safety culture within maintenance operationsQualifications/Requirements:Associate degree, technical/trade certification, or equivalent experience5+ years in facility maintenance, manufacturing maintenance, or related fieldExperience with maintenance planning, scheduling, or coordination preferredStrong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and facility systemsExperience with CMMS platforms (FIIX, Maximo, etc.)Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams)Strong organizational and planning skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentEffective communication and cross-functional coordinationAttention to detail and data accuracyAbility to work on-site at both Louisville and Thornton facilities as needed.Physical Requirements:Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy equipment and tools (up to 50 pounds)Ability to walk large facilities and access mechanical spacesRequired to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as necessary including, but not limited to eye protection, hair net, gloves, face mask, coveralls, full-face respirator or PAPRHourly Range: $30.00 - $46.00/hourBenefits: Solid Power offers a comprehensive benefit package that includes medical/dental/vision insurance, employer paid Life/AD&D/STD/LTD insurance, 401k with company match, 8 paid holidays, generous PTO, up to six (6) weeks paid FMLA leave, cell phone reimbursement and eligibility to participate in our bonus and equity plan.Company may delay commencement of employment, rescind an offer of employment, terminate employment, and/or may modify job responsibilities, compensation, benefits, and/or access to Company facilities and information systems, as Company deems appropriate, in order to ensure compliance with applicable government access control restrictions.This position will be posted for a minimum of 7 days and will remain open until filled or adjusted based on the volume of applicants.All offers of employment at Solid Power are contingent upon clear results of a thorough background check.Please no soliciting from staffing agencies.
