Captivation is looking for software developers who can get stuff done while making a difference in support of the mission to protect our country. DescriptionCaptivation Software is looking for a senior level Software Engineer who shall be part of an overarching project responsible for developing and maintaining system management infrastructure software and services for High Performance Computing (HPC) systems in a Linux environment. RequirementsSecurity Clearance:Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizenMinimum Qualifications:Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus five (5) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus seven (7) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexityNine (9) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.Required Skills:Experience using the Linux CLIProficiency in scripting (Bash/Python) to automate tasks and processesExperience developing software solutions using programming languages such as Python, and Rust in a Linux environmentExperience with containerization technologies such as Docker, PodMan, containersExperience with automation frameworks including Ansible for orchestrating deploymentExperience performing troubleshooting and debugging issues in an operational systemExperience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools such as GitLab CI and JenkinsExperience with Git Source Control SystemDesired Skills:Familiar with Datacenter Infrastructure Management (DCIM) tools such as NetboxFamiliar with Observability and Analytics platform solutions such as SplunkFamiliar with Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions such as KeycloakFamiliar with Secret Management tools such as HashiCorp VaultExperience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)Familiar with Agile, Scrum, or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies This position is open for direct hires only.
