If we've described you and your dream workplace, please apply and share in the many benefits and opportunities we offer.\nProgrammer – SW Dev II\nResponsibilities and Duties\nDesign, develop, test, implement, and maintain enterprise software applications supporting Operations and Sustainment activities.\nDevelop and enhance Oracle APEX applications supporting mission-critical business processes and operational workflows.\nSupport the maintenance, enhancement, and modernization of applications including Owner Operator, Dashboard, Events and Incidents, Digital Library, IPRS, SEDIT, Taxonomy, and Digital Express Statement platforms.\nParticipate in all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and sustainment.\nDevelop user interfaces, workflows, reports, dashboards, forms, and data visualizations to support operational and business requirements.\nDesign and implement application enhancements that improve system functionality, usability, performance, and maintainability.\nDevelop and maintain APIs, system integrations, and data exchange processes between enterprise applications and external systems.\nCreate and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, packages, and database components supporting application functionality.\nCollaborate with business stakeholders, system administrators, and technical teams to gather requirements and implement software solutions.\nTroubleshoot and resolve application defects, production issues, system errors, and performance bottlenecks.\nSupport operational sustainment activities, including incident resolution, problem management, and application support.\nPerform software testing activities, including unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing support.\nDevelop and maintain technical documentation, application specifications, code documentation, and operational procedures.\nSupport software releases, deployments, upgrades, patches, and configuration changes.\nParticipate in code reviews and ensure adherence to established development standards and best practices.\nSupport cybersecurity initiatives by implementing secure coding practices and remediating identified vulnerabilities.\nMonitor application performance and recommend improvements to maximize reliability and operational efficiency.\nAssist with data migration, data validation, and application modernization initiatives.\nCollaborate with infrastructure, database, and cybersecurity teams to support overall system health and operational readiness.\nContribute to continuous improvement efforts focused on automation, customer service, application stability, and service delivery.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.\nMinimum of four (4) years of software development experience.\nExperience developing, maintaining, and supporting enterprise software applications.\nExperience with Oracle APEX application development and Oracle database technologies.\nProficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, database development, and application troubleshooting.\nExperience supporting application enhancements, maintenance, and operational sustainment activities.\nKnowledge of software development methodologies and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes.\nExperience developing reports, dashboards, workflows, user interfaces, and data-driven applications.\nExperience with application testing, debugging, and defect resolution.\nFamiliarity with source control and version management tools such as Git, Azure DevOps, GitHub, or similar platforms.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.\nU.S. Citizen.
