CSS facilitates the electronic transfer of clinical information between disparate information systems in order to positively impact the healthcare system through improved patient care and outcomes, reduced costs, and data-driven understanding of regional public health concerns.\n\nJob Summary\nCSS is establishing a new cross-functional pod delivery structure to enhance agility and efficiency in delivering critical healthcare data solutions. As a Technical Project Manager (TPM), you will play a pivotal role in leading and coordinating technical projects within these pods. The TPM will be the central point of contact across CSS IT Teams, enabling successful onboarding and service delivery, ensuring seamless communication, managing project timelines using agile methodologies, and driving continuous improvement. By departing your technical acumen and project management expertise, you will facilitate the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers and affiliates. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual with a passion for driving successful project outcomes in a dynamic healthcare technology environment.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nInclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.\n\nProject Leadership & Coordination:\nLead and coordinate technical work within the cross-functional pod, ensuring alignment with project goals and customer needs.\nConduct post-project evaluations to identify successful elements and areas for improvement.\nRelease Management & Post-Release Monitoring:\nOversee the release management process, including planning, execution, and post release monitoring to ensure smooth deployments and minimal disruption\nBlocker Resolution & Issue Tracking:\nProactively identify and track project blockers, working collaboratively with team members to resolve issues and mitigate risks.\nJira Management:\nCreate, manage, and maintain Jira tickets, ensuring accurate documentation and efficient workflow management.\nOwn and provide updates to project details and status updates in Jira.\nStakeholder Communication:\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with multiple stakeholders, balancing their needs and expectations.\nServe as a trusted advisor to key contacts, regularly soliciting feedback to set and manage expectations.\nMeeting Facilitation:\nOwn and facilitate regular meetings, including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives. Attend HIE Partner meetings (along with Implementations) to provide updates related to onboarding and/or interfaces. And stakeholder updates.\nChange Management (RRB & CCB):\nPrepare and present project items for review and approval by the Requirements Review Board (RRB) and Change Control Board (CCB).\nThroughput Management:\n\nMonitor and manage the throughput of work, ensuring efficient resource allocation and timely delivery.\nEngineering and Data Integration:\n\nDevelop and maintain integration solutions, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across systems.\nLead initiatives for data integration using healthcare industry interoperability standards.\nContinuous Improvement:\n\nIdentify and drive process improvement initiatives, aligning them with organizational goals and strategies.\nGuide teams through improvements in standards, processes, and technology.\n\nRequired Skills and Qualifications\nRequired Behavioral Skills:\nLeadership: Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.\nEffective Communication: Ability to express ideas clearly using both technical and business language, adaptable to various audiences.\nCreative Problem Solving: Analyze and resolve complex problems, bringing innovative solutions to high-impact issues.\nAdaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.\nProactive: Ability to anticipate problems and take initiative to address them.\n\nRequired Technical Skills:\nSoftware Development Lifecycle (SDLC): Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban).\nJira & Confluence: Proficiency in using Jira for issue tracking, project management, and reporting, and Confluence for documentation and collaboration.\nRelease Management: Experience in managing software releases, including planning, execution, and post-release monitoring.\nHealthcare Technology: Familiarity with healthcare data standards (HL7, HL7v2, HL7v3, flat files, FHIR) and healthcare information exchange concepts (preferred).\nAPI & Integration: Understanding of API integrations, data exchange protocols, and connectivity methods (sftp, mft, VPN, HTTPS, etc.)\n\nTools:\nJira & Confluence\nMirth Connect\nDatabricks\nPostman\n\nExperience and/or Education Requirements\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).\nProject Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification (a plus).\nMinimum of 2-3 years of experience in technical project management, preferably in a healthcare or technology environment, or equivalent.\nStrong leadership abilities, with a track record of managing complex projects and cross-functional teams.\nExcellent communication, coordination, and relationship management skills.\nCompensation and Benefits Package\nTargeted base salary: $85k - $100k per year, based on experience and qualifications, plus benefits and bonuses.\nBenefits include the following but are not limited to health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance. CSS also has a 403(b) plan with discretionary employer match and contributions. You will be eligible for 20 days of Paid Time Off per year (accrued in accordance with CSS' policies).
