Even if you don't meet every requirement but believe you’d excel in this role, we’d love to hear from you!\n\nWhat you’ll do\nAdvanced Embroidery Digitizing\n\nConvert customer artwork into production-ready embroidery files.\n\nCreate efficient stitch paths that minimize trims, jumps, thread breaks, and machine downtime.\n\nDigitize for multiple fabric types including: Performance apparel, Caps and structured hats, Knit garments, Woven garments, Heavy jackets, Bags and accessories\n\nApply proper stitch sequencing and object ordering.\n\nOptimize designs for different embroidery machine brands and formats.\n\nTajima DG16 Expertise\n\nExpert use of: Auto Punch, Manual Punch, Stitch Editor, Underlay Settings, Pull Compensation, Density Management, Pathing & Travel Runs, Appliqué Functions, Sequin Functions (if applicable), Cap Frame Digitizing, Lettering & Monogramming Tools, Vector Import & Cleanup\n\nTroubleshoot production issues directly within DG16.\n\nProduction Optimization\n\nReduce stitch count without sacrificing quality.\n\nImprove machine efficiency and production speed.\n\nAnalyze sew-outs and make corrections.\n\nCreate machine-ready files that require minimal operator intervention.\n\nQuality Assurance\n\nReview sew-out samples.\n\nIdentify causes of: Registration issues, Puckering, Thread breaks, Bird nesting, Poor coverage, Distortion\n\nImplement corrective digitizing adjustments.\n\nTechnical Competencies\nAdvanced Digitizing Knowledge\nStitch Types\nExpert understanding of: Satin stitches, Fill stitches, Tatami fills, Motif fills, Running stitches, Bean stitches, Zig-zag stitches, Edge-run stitches, Decorative stitches\n\nUnderlay Strategy\nDeep understanding of: Edge Run, Center Walk, Zig-Zag, Double Zig-Zag, Combination underlays\n\nKnows when each underlay type should be used based on: Fabric, Design size, Stitch type, Garment stability\n\nDensity Control\nAbility to: Adjust density based on fabric type. Balance coverage versus stitch count. Prevent thread buildup and puckering.\n\nPull Compensation\nExpert-level understanding of: Fabric distortion, Push and pull effects, Compensation adjustments by stitch angle and material\n\nSequencing & Pathing\nEfficient object ordering. Minimized trims and color changes. Reduced machine movement.
