You are applying to an exceptional team that contributes to enhancing our position as a proven global expert in data management.\nAbout the Role\nWe are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Engineer with strong Systems Administration expertise and practical exposure to DevOps practices to support the global Engineering organization. This role is systems-first, focused on cloud and on-premises infrastructure, virtualization, operating systems, networking, and domain administration. As the role matures, there will be opportunities to learn and take on more DevOps-centric responsibilities, partnering closely with Engineering teams and evolving platform capabilities over time.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, specify, build, and administer production-grade on‑premise infrastructure including servers, storage, networks, and clusters.\nInstall, configure, and administer Windows and Linux systems.\nDeploy, configure, and maintain hypervisors and virtualization platforms (VMware, Proxmox).\nAdminister Windows-based domain environments including Active Directory, DNS, and authentication services.\nCreate, deploy, rotate, and manage certificates (internal and public CAs).\nProvide network administration and troubleshooting support.\nTroubleshoot virtual machine and container-based workload issues.\nAdminister and support SaaS and cloud services alongside on-premise systems.\nAdminister Atlassian and GitLab platforms including upgrades, access controls, and integrations.\nSupport CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling in collaboration with Engineering teams.\nApply scripting and automation where appropriate (Python, Bash).\nMaintain backups, monitoring, patching, and security hygiene.\nMaintain documentation, diagrams, and operational runbooks.\nRequired Experience & Qualifications\nProfessional Experience\n5–8+ years of related experience with a primary background in Systems Administration, supporting production environments, including ownership of infrastructure, domains, and cloud services.\nDemonstrated ability to operate independently in environments with limited day-to-day oversight.\nWilling and able to come into our office in Centennial, CO at least 3x/week (Tuesday - Thursday 10am - 4pm core hours).\nInfrastructure, Virtualization & Networking\nHands-on experience specifying, building, and administering servers, networks, and clusters.\nHypervisor deployment and management experience required.\nNetwork administration experience required.\nExperience troubleshooting virtual machine and container-based workloads.\nDomain, Identity & Security\nExperience administrating domains is required.\nWindows-based domain services including Active Directory, DNS, LDAP, and authentication.\nCertificate creation, deployment, rotation, and lifecycle management required.\nCloud & SaaS Systems Administration\nSystems administration experience with SaaS and cloud platforms required.\nExperience administering cloud environments in Google, Microsoft, or Amazon ecosystems required.\nAWS experience strongly preferred.\nDevOps Knowledge (Supporting Experience)\nWorking knowledge of DevOps practices and tooling.\nExperience supporting CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab).\nFamiliarity with source control workflows and SAST/SCA concepts.\nBasic scripting experience using Python.\nPreferred\nExperience administrating Atlassian and GitLab.\nExperience using AI-assisted tools for systems administration or automation.\nExposure to containers or Kubernetes.\nSoft Skills\nStrong operational ownership mindset.\nClear written and verbal communication skills.\nHighly organized with strong attention to detail.\nComfort collaborating with Engineering, IT, and Security teams.\nQuantum provides a diverse portfolio of health plans for medical and prescription, dental, vision, life, disability and supplemental medical insurance options.
