We are committed to ensuring clear and consistent communication across our expanding workforce.The Internal Communications Strategist is responsible for developing and executing communication strategies, programs, and content to engage and inform employees and stakeholders. This role plays a critical part in building and maintaining a strong company culture, enhancing employee engagement, and supporting key business objectives. This position is responsible for creating and executing a strategic corporate communications plan and program, and will oversee the development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of an intranet system. This position will work closely with a variety of departments and stakeholders, including executive leadership, to ensure that information flows transparently and that the company’s vision and business objectives are communicated effectively.Duties And ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute an internal communication strategy aligned with the company’s overall business goals and objectives. Create engaging and informative content for various communication channels, including employee newsletters, member newsletters, intranet, email, and internal social media platforms.Identify internal communication needs and opportunities to ensure consistent messaging across all levels of the firm.Develop clear, compelling, and engaging messages through various internal communication channels.Help foster a culture of open communication and transparency within the firm.Oversee the development, implementation, and management of a company intranet, ensuring it is up-to-date, user-friendly, and engaging. Develop and manage internal communication campaigns to support company initiatives, such as new product launches and/or organizational changes. Measure the effectiveness of internal communication efforts and provide regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs).Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization to ensure effective communication flow.Ensure effective collaboration and clear alignment among leadership with emphasis on our human resources team. Leverage and optimize the CEO and other executive leadership member’s time and effectiveness by helping them deliver high impact internal communications.Stay up to date on internal and shareholder communication trends and best practices.Develop and manage budget and vendors to support Savant’s corporate communication needs.QualificationsThe Internal Communications Strategist position typically requires the following qualifications:Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in public relations and/or internal communication, preferably in the financial services industry.Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with impeccable attention to detail.Strong project management skills. Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities. Experience with internal intranet or external website projects. Proficiency in using content management systems and other relevant tools.Proficient in using graphic design software, such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong analytical and creative mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.Familiarity with financial and investment concepts is a plus.Portfolio showcasing a range of communication plan projects.
