This position also serves as a backup to our Line Haul team, transporting product from the warehouse in San Antonio to one of our delivery hubs as needed.Job RequirementsSchedule: Sunday through ThursdayThird Shift:Midnight and 2am start times availableWarehouseComplete our forklift certification programPut away inbound pallets of freight in both racked and bulk locationsReplenish locations for selectionUtilize Warehouse Management System bar code scanning system to accurately account for and locate productOrder selection and cleanup activities as directedIssue, receive, pick, and transfer product to maintain accurate inventorySafely operate and utilize manual and power equipmentLoading and unloading of product in an efficient and safe mannerCheck product and packaging for quality purposes prior to shippingReviews orders for shipment to ensure accuracyOther warehouse duties and activities as assignedProperly recording breakage and clean-up of breakageHousekeeping as directed by supervisorLine Haul (as Needed)Conduct pre-trip inspections of the equipment (tractor/53' trailer)Load pallets at the San Antonio distribution center in a pre-determined sequence using a forkliftDrive the product to various cross docks, including Dallas, Houston, Abilene, Austin.Unload the pallet of product at each respective cross dock and re load onto the local delivery trucks in the right sequence.You may need to load staged pallets to bring back to San Antonio.Competitive Pay RatesPLUSOvertimeMay conduct deliveries on the way backNOTE: Must be able to work in Warehouse when not dispatched to driveQualificationsMust possess a valid Class A CDLMinimum 3 year driving experience (tractor/trailer) / 5 years preferredA good driving recordDetail orientedSelf motivated, work independently and self managed to meet deadlinesCurrent medical cardGood communication skills to establish and maintain effective relationships with co-workers and supervisorsPay: $27.30/hourStrong Benefits Package: Medical, Dental, Vision, FSA, HSA, 401k/401k Match, Parental Leave, PTO, Paid Holidays, and short & long-term disability.The Company and Drivers are responsible to ensure we are in compliance with all local and federal state laws and regulations along with company policies and DOT requirements.Worker Sub-TypeRegularTime TypeFull timeApply
