Candidate will develop and modernize Python-based applications as part of a cloud transformation initiative, including migrating legacy systems, building cloud-native services, and integrating APIs. The role will also focus on automated deployment pipelines, application performance, software quality, and collaboration with cross-functional technical teams.\n\n*Required Qualifications of the Senior Python Developer:*\n\n* Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to provide sponsorship or work with Third-Party agencies.\n* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be accepted.\n* Six or more years of experience in application development, systems testing, software engineering, or a related discipline.\n* Advanced proficiency in Python programming and application development.\n* Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, including AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.\n* Experience designing, developing, and integrating APIs.\n* Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar technologies.\n* Strong understanding of software design, systems integration, debugging, testing, and application performance optimization.\n* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.\n* Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet project deadlines, and develop reliable, maintainable software solutions.\n\n*Preferred Skills/Experience of the Senior Python Developer:*\n\n* Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized application deployments.\n* Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager.\n* Background in legacy application refactoring, rewriting existing systems, or cloud migration projects.\n\n*Responsibilities of the Senior Python Developer:*\n\n* Design, develop, enhance, and maintain complex Python applications and cloud-based services.\n* Analyze legacy systems and modernize existing components through refactoring, rewriting, and migration.\n* Build and integrate APIs to enable communication between applications and cloud services.\n* Implement and maintain automated build, testing, and deployment processes using CI/CD and DevOps tools.\n* Develop and execute unit and integration tests, troubleshoot defects, and optimize application performance and reliability.\n* Collaborate with architects, cloud engineers, business analysts, and other developers to deliver technical solutions aligned with business requirements and architectural standards.\n\n*Work Location:* Remote.
