Updates the ISS monthly.\nServes as liaison with representatives from County staff, other service providers, and families.\nReports individual progress through ISS updates, case notes, telephone contacts, and meetings.\nConsults with program manager about workforce engagement and employment services, including suitability of placements, and level of intervention a participant may need.\nConnects participants to workshops, work experience, educational and employment activities.\nParticipates in individual record reviews, internal file audits, county monitoring and quality assurance reviews.\nAssists individuals with wraparound service referrals related to benefits, healthcare, housing, and childcare needs and other supportive services including applying for new benefits or services.\nAdvocates for individuals and reports suspected violations of rights or abuse.\nParticipates in team meetings with internal staff and outside providers, as appropriate, and communicate individually with team members between meetings in order to coordinate.\nMaintains all documentation on assigned cases including up-to-date case notes, updating any required databases, completely required reports, and assembles documentation for billing.\nAdheres to program standards and outcomes as outlined in program policies/procedures, program contracts, and referral and accreditation agency standards.\nPerforms other related duties as assigned.\nDevelops and continues relationships with employers, community organizations and leaders to assist participants in gaining and/or maintaining employment.\nUnderstands and utilizes local labor market information to help individuals make informed career choices.\nImplements relationship-building strategies with employers including presentations, special events, employer acknowledgement, and networking.\nMonitors work experience worksites and participants, develops training plans, and attends a performance evaluation with the participant and the site supervisor.\nAssist Mission Services participants in finding employment or entering post-secondary education.\n\nRequired Skills/Abilities:\n\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nAbility to speak/read/write proficient English; Bilingual skills preferred.\nProficient with Microsoft Office/Office 365.\nAbility to market and place individuals with disabilities, lack of skills, negative work history, justice-involved, and/or multiple barriers to employment.\nKnowledge of the local labor market.\nAbility to work both independently and collaboratively.\nWorks well under pressure and with deadlines; ability to multitask.\nExcellent time management skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail.\nHonesty, integrity, reliability, punctuality.\nThorough knowledge about company’s mission and services.\nUphold compliance with all legal, health, and safety guidelines.\nRequired Experience:\n\nBachelor’s degree or experience in job placement/staffing or working in youth services.\nValid driver license and insured/reliable vehicle.\nBackground check.\nPhysical Requirements:\n\nFree from drug and alcohol abuse.\nEquipment, machines and tools used:\n\nComputer.\nPrinter\nCopy machine.\nPhone.\n\nNote: The statements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed, but are not to be seen as a complete list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required of personnel so classified.
