{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"2651bd45037e2bc1bda87df3","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/2651bd45037e2bc1bda87df3","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/2651bd45037e2bc1bda87df3","title":"Electrical Controls Panel Technician/Assembler Basic Requirements","description":"*Granbury Texas equipment manufacturer is seeking an Electrical Controls Panel Technician/Assembler*\n\n*Basic Requirements*\n\n* Can complete assigned tasks accurately and within the timeframe allowed.\n* Be flexible with working hours to allow for occasional overtime if the job schedule requires it.\n* Must be self-motivated and flexible to work well under tight schedules in a team environment.\n* Can lift a minimum of 50 pounds as well as be able to stand.\n* Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.\n\n*Job Requirements*\n\n* Must have a thorough working knowledge of all hand and power tools including Voltmeters, continuity checker, basic hand tools, power tools and taps and drills.\n* Comfortable with the safe use of hand tools for cutting, stripping, drilling, and punching of holes in steel cabinets and/or control enclosures.\n* Can read and understand electrical drawings\n* Possess basic computer skills.\n* Solid problem-solving skills.\n* Experience with 120 VAC, 1PH & 480 VAC, 3PH a plus.\n* Must have Valid Driver's License\n* Pass Pre-employment and Random Drug Screens\n\n*Job Details*\n\n* Build and assemble electrical control panels and doors. Cut, prep, and terminate control wiring connections.\n* Wire all control type components, terminals, relays, meters, contacts, breakers, switches, terminal/shorting blocks, lights, etc.\n* Verify components with the bill of materials to ensure accuracy.\n* Install electrical components per assembly drawings.\n* Operate a computer terminal to look up drawings and diagrams.\n* Wear appropriate safety gear at all times.\n* Layout panels and mount devices using various methods.\n* Measures, uses tools, interprets visual aids, and performs simple shop math.\n* Wire panels in accordance with provided point to point diagrams.\n* Wire package end devices to control panel.\n* Wire electric motors to motor controller.
