X-Ray Technologist (Part-Time Schedule)
Description We are seeking an ambitious licensed Radiology Technologist to join our team! The Radiology Technician will assist doctors in the Operating Room utilizing fluoroscopic imaging. To be successful in this role, the Radiology Technician must have prior experience in a surgical setting using fluoroscopy. They must have experience with Orthopedic, Pain Management, and Spine Procedures. Summary of Responsibilities: Provide quality imaging and fluoroscopic guidance during OR proceduresPerform necessary quality control procedures to ensure quality exams are performedPrepare patients for radiology procedures and follow established clinical and regulatory procedures in regards to patient safety and care; including proper radiation protection and shielding techniquesEnsure that equipment is in proper working order; report any malfunction to area manager(s) or provider on dutyFollow documentation procedures and complete required documentation related to patient visitAssume responsibility for maintaining and improving diagnostic imaging knowledge and skills with the support and assistance of outside educational resourcesEffectively communicate with staff and patientsProvide exceptional patient experiences through internal and external coordination of patient careGuarantee accurate record keeping and scheduling best practicesDemonstrate an ability to maintain confidentiality in accordance with governing HIPAA regulations Requirements: Minimum of 2 years C-Arm experience in an Ambulatory Surgical setting requiredAssociates or Bachelor degree in Radiography or Radiologic TechnologyState license and certification to practiceExcellent communication, interpersonal, and patient service skillsGood analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to operate and understand radiographic technology and equipmentPhysical stamina to stand for long periods and operate heavy machinery without assistanceJob Type: Part-TimeOne location - MillburnBenefits: 401(k) matchingMedical, Dental & VisionPaid Time OffSick TimePaid Holidays Background Check Requirement: Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check, which may include verification of employment history, education, criminal records, and other relevant information as permitted by law
