If you enjoy working with your hands, solving problems, and building high-quality equipment in a team environment, we\\'d love to hear from you.\r\nWhat You\\'ll DoAssemble mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components on food processing equipment.\r\nRead and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, work instructions, and bills of materials.\r\nPerform equipment testing and troubleshooting to ensure products meet quality and performance standards.\r\nUse hand tools, power tools, measurement tools, and fabrication equipment safely and effectively.\r\nOperate overhead cranes, forklifts (training provided), and other shop equipment as needed.\r\nComplete work within established labor standards while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area.\r\nInspect your work for quality and make adjustments as needed to ensure equipment meets specifications.\r\nCollaborate with engineering, production, and fellow team members to meet production goals.\r\nWhat We\\'re Looking ForHigh school diploma or GED preferred.\r\nPrevious manufacturing and/or mechanical assembly experience preferred.\r\nAbility to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.\r\nBasic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.\r\nExperience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.\r\nBasic computer skills with the ability to view drawings and work instructions.\r\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality.\r\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\r\nWelding experience is a plus, but not required.\r\nExperience with industrial controls, variable frequency drives (VFDs), servo motors, cameras, or laser scanners is a plus.\r\nPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, bend, and climb throughout the workday.\r\nLift up to 50 pounds regularly.\r\nPush and move carts and materials.\r\nWork from ladders or elevated platforms when needed.\r\nComfortable working in a manufacturing environment with machinery, overhead cranes, forklifts, varying temperatures, and industrial noise.\r\nWhy Join JBT Marel?At JBT Marel, you\\'ll be part of a global team that designs and manufactures innovative food processing solutions used around the world.
