Information Technology Business Analyst

Job Title: IT Business Analyst 3 (State of Georgia)Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid)Contract: 1+ years (Extendable) Summary:Senior IT Business Analyst serving as the bridge between business and IT teams to analyze business needs, gather requirements, support enterprise system implementations, improve workflows, and drive successful delivery of business technology solutions. Responsibilities:Lead requirements gathering sessions, document BRDs/FRDs, user stories and use cases, collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams, support Agile/Scrum and Waterfall projects, coordinate UAT/testing, assist with system rollouts, improve business processes, and provide user training and functional support. Experience:5+ years of Business Analysis or Systems Analysis experience with expertise in requirements elicitation, Agile/Scrum & Waterfall SDLC, stakeholder management, Jira/Confluence/Figma, UAT coordination, technical documentation, and basic SQL/data mapping understanding. Certifications (Preferred):CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional), PMI-PBA (Professional in Business Analysis), Agile/Scrum certifications (CSM/PSM) preferred but not mandatory.
