Job description Looking for a cook for FRIDAYS and SATURDAYS 4pm to 2am (Kitchen closes at 1am and then clean up). Job Summary This is a one person kitchen. Must be able to run the kitchen without supervision while maintaining our standards. You can see our menu at MurphsStudyHall.com . Since this is a one person kitchen this individual must be extremely reliable have a very reliable transportation. Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu plans. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other cooking tools. Must be able to close down the kitchen at the end of the shift. (clean the grill, etc..) Skills Proficient in food preparation techniques and culinary skills. Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices for food handling. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team setting. A passion for cooking and creating high-quality meals that meet customer expectations.
