You will contribute across the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, software design, full-stack development, testing, troubleshooting, deployment, and ongoing application support. The role offers an opportunity to work on high-priority, high-impact projects supporting critical infrastructure and capacity initiatives, with the flexibility to develop prototypes, solve complex technical problems, and transition successful solutions to long-term owners. You will collaborate with cross-functional partners, participate in code reviews and technical discussions, and use modern development practices to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.\n\nResponsibilities\nDesign, develop, test, implement, and maintain business applications, web-based tools, automation solutions, and software systems.\nDevelop both front-end and back-end components as part of full-stack software solutions.\nGather and analyze system requirements and translate business and technical needs into software solutions.\nDesign and develop software using sound principles of data structures, algorithms, software design, and large-scale systems development.\nBuild prototypes and proof-of-concept solutions to address emerging technical and business needs.\nDevelop new applications and enhance existing software and legacy production systems.\nAnalyze enhancement requests, technical specifications, and system requirements to determine appropriate solutions.\nPrepare detailed software specifications, technical documentation, and test plans.\nDevelop unit and integration tests and conduct thorough testing of new and modified software.\nTroubleshoot complex software issues, diagnose root causes, and implement appropriate resolutions.\nSupport applications through system testing, user testing, implementation, and post-implementation validation.\nCreate and manage migration packages for system, user, and production environments.\nIdentify and resolve defects and bugs across development and production environments.\nParticipate in quality assurance activities and code reviews to ensure software quality and maintainability.\nConnect front-end applications with back-end services and data sources.\nTrack development work and deliverables through Azure DevOps or similar engineering workflow tools.\nCollaborate with stakeholders and technical partners to communicate progress, technical decisions, challenges, and solutions.\nDevelop solutions that can ultimately be transitioned to long-term engineering or operational teams.\nRequired Qualifications\n8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with the target level being approximately 8–10 years.\n8+ years of experience with C#.\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or another related technical field.\nStrong foundation in:\nData structures\nAlgorithms\nSoftware design\nLarge-scale software systems\nExperience developing and supporting full-stack applications, including connecting front-end applications to back-end services and data sources.\nExperience with data modeling and/or data sources.\nExperience performing in-depth troubleshooting and problem diagnosis on both new and legacy production systems.\nExperience with unit testing, software testing, debugging, and defect resolution.\nExperience designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining software applications.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.\nU.S. Citizenship required.\nAbility and willingness to work onsite five days per week.\n\nCompensation\n\nAt Blueprint, we strive to offer competitive pay that reflects the value of our team members. Compensation for this role is influenced by a variety of factors, including skills, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographic market.\n\nFor candidates based in Washington State, the anticipated compensation range is $60 to $75.00 USD per hour. Please note that we typically do not hire new employees at the top of the posted range. Actual starting pay will be determined based on experience, skills, and internal equity.
